Likewise in Tallinn, not quite the right sort of advertising!Something lost in the translation I think... All drunks welcome, would perhaps be more precise! These were from my 2007 visit.
Some 'graffiti art' is decidly unexceptional, whether in colour, or monotone. But what appeals anout it to me is how quickly it changes. Whether that's faded, covered over by more 'art', or simply 'vandalised' by those who see it as vandalism, and an eyesore itself. Which goes back to the age old question: 'What is art?'. (Or in my case 'What is a photo?' )
I am just an ordinary bloke, who happens to enjoy taking photos! They're extremely amateurish, I know nothing about photography, and use a cheap digital camera. They can be out of focus, and have far too much shadow, or sunlight in them. But I've never claimed to be an expert, it's just a little hobby I enjoy, and am now, slowly, starting to transfer from disc to here. I have a backlog going back to Spring 2007, and will add old & new here, when I can.
They are here for me to look at and enjoy. If anyone looking in gets a bit out of pleasure looking at them then that's a bonus!
