Strumming along the banks of the Thames

This was an open air art exhibition, from 2007. The theme being popular music-which isn't my forte-& guitars. Despite not recognising the themes on a lot of them I thought it was a superb display. There are regular open-air temporary events like this at this spot, outside the HQ of the Greater London Authority, by Tower Bridge. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

The name vaguely rang a bell, I didn't realise exactly why until I got there. Back in my old drinking days you could get here at six in the morning, and a little earlier once they got to know you, and have a few beers before work in the 'Fox', as they had a special early licence for the,erm, Smithfield Market workers.
