Eastbourne Pier

Eastbourne is seen as the classic example of a seaside town being "god's waiting room", but it is a lot more than that. This is the town pier, I'm no expert, unlike these folk, but to me it's is still one of the finest examples I've ever seen. I love it, even on the deserted winter Saturday lunchtime before christmas, when I took these snaps. I must make a point of returning in the summer...
