The foyer in the National Theatre, on the South Bank, is currently displaying the exhibition 'The Press Photographer's Year'.
This photo of a city trader committing suicide by jumping from a hotel wasn't in the exhibition. I saw it flicking through the book of the awards that was on display. I see nothing wrong with the publishing of this sort of photo by the media. I find them fascinatingly intrustive, possibly distressing for the personal relarives of the jumper; but certainly publishable & newsworthy.
I saved the best til last. What on earth was the photographer thinking? Down a bit, down a bit...PLEASE! ;-)
